3 horses, 5 cattle.

Only knowledge of his existance is the tax list.
Placement purely arbitrary. Name unclear, could be
Simmons.

Henry SISSON

Connections purely arbitrary. We originally thought
that the Henry in TN was our direct ancestaor and
married to Betty MUSE. This is incorrect. The Henry
in TN is not eliminated as either the direct ancestor
of the TN group or a part of the B'wick family, but
it is becoming less likely. Everything originally
pointed to the Henry and Tom in TN being older than
John, Wm., James & Eldridge. James II in TN named his
first son Henry. Wm. II also used it. Henry had
property in TN. Beyond what is noted in this record,
we have found no further record. The 'branch' in KY
has to come from somewhere, they use the -m, and ONLY
the folks that went thru TN used it. I have attached
him to Zach because the next generation 's heavy use
of biblical names.

Henry is a fairly common given name in the
Westmoreland & Richmond Sisson families and this one
was still there as late as 31 May 1784 ('VA
Geneologist'-in file). Henry in TN may well be part
of the 'northern' VA Sisson branch and his presence
in TN may confirm a closer connection than we have
thought. IGI has a Henry, b.1750, Richmond, Ann
Sisson and Solomon Redman; Henry C. b.1764 VA
(nothing else); Henry m. Winifred Smith 1787
Richmond.

There are 6 adult SissoN/M males in TN in 1810:
James, Tom, Wm., John, Henry, & Eldredge. The latter
came to TN from GA/MS and returned to MS. John went
to AL. We think James and Wm. are brothers and their
lines are developed. Tom and Henry seem to be
members of the earlier generation. His place remains
a mystery.

Ct records mention a rd by his property ".... below
Wallie's Creek...."

1703 François SASSIN on a passenger list. No other
indication of presence.
1777 Wm. SIZZER on list of those taking Oath in
Pittsylvania Co.
Don't think this is ours as SIZER/SIZOR appears
several times

1785 Halifax census: James CHISUM 12, 0, 7; CHISSUM
11, 0, 0 in 1782 list.
1790 Prince George: Benjamin, Wm. (2) SEOGAIN
Maury Chancery Ct. Rec., 1810-60, v1, p139, John
SESSIONS, b.1783.
1790 Henry Co. Personal B tax list; Elizabeth SCIZON,
1 titheable
1790 Personal tax lists show Sissons in only
Westmoreland. Richmond, Fauquier.
What is influence of Henry and Jesse on TN group?
